Gwalior: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that the Scindia family has made a significant contribution in the field of education. Today I have unveiled the statue of a great personality who has set records in many fields including education in independent India. Along with this, he has also given impetus to education through which a person develops the innermost feelings and a human being is created. The Vice President said that this is a changing world, and changes will keep happening but education is very important.

Vice President Dhankhar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi implemented the new National Education Policy in the country. Our country has gone far ahead in technology. It is expected that Jiwaji University Institute will also usher new technologies.

As chief guest on the occasion, Vice President Dhankhar said at a function organized after the unveiling of the statue of Jiwaji Rao Scindia at the Jiwaji University campus. Governor Mangubhai Patel presided over the function. Special guests on the occasion were Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Union Communications and North Eastern Region Development Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Minister Inder Singh Parmar, District In-charge and Water Resources Minister Tulsaram Silawat, New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla and Vice President’s wife Mrs Sudesh Dhankhar.

The Vice President said that the Scindia family has always made contributions in the Parliament. Late Madhavrao Scindia has done commendable work in many fields. He has done his best in whatever ministry he has got. The Vice President said that the dream of education that Jiwaji Rao had seen is coming true today.
