Bhopal/Raipur/Chattisgarh: In a pivotal turn of events, early vote counts on Sunday revealed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) taking a commanding lead in three crucial Hindi heartland states—Madhya Pradesh (MP), Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.
All the three Hindi heartland States had gone to the Congress in 2018. The rout of the Congress in these States is being equated on one side with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and popularity and also his agenda of development, progress of all and stress on the cultural values and civilisational primacy of Bharat and on the other, Congress party’s and more particularly it’s leader Rahul Gandhi’s policy of appeasement of Muslims, divisive politics revolving around his full throated bid to divide India on caste lines and utter silence when political allies attack Sanatan dharma. The Congress stand on these issues was a recipe for defeat. Major credit for Congress success in Telangana should go to just one leader and that’s the Telangana Pradesh Congress President, Revanth Reddy. The Revanth factor notwithstanding, BJP got squarely beaten in Telangana as it banked more on wrong leaders, wrong caste equation and wrong alliances in that State- Lalit Shastri
The 15:12 data Sunday afternoon from the Election Commission of India (ECI) displayed the BJP’s dominance, particularly with the party leading in 150 seats in MP and 110 seats in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the Congress trailed behind, holding 70 seats in MP and 69 in Rajasthan.
In Chhattisgarh, a fierce competition unfolded, with the BJP and Congress locked in a neck-and-neck battle. The BJP led on 46 seats, while Congress stayed ahead on 40 seats.
However, the Congress managed to outshine the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana, showcasing a significant surge in the early results.
These early trends underscore the BJP’s unwavering political prowess in these key states, positioning the party with a substantial advantage as the nation gears up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The massive victory in MP suggests that incumbent Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has successfully overcome anti-incumbency, solidifying the BJP’s dominance in the region.

Very pragmatically brought out poll analysis by Lalit Shastri. Family run Congress, with Its anti Hindu & Pro Muslim appeasement policy plus selfish personal agenda with no care for Bharat, needs to be consigned to the dustbin of history forever. Jai Bharat

Most interesting result is from Telengana. Muslim votes en masse have gone to Congress. Similar phenomenon like in Karnataka. Muslims deserted BRS in spite of all the support and sops to Muslims. Hindu supporters from small parties shifted to BJP. So BJP doubled its vote share. Muslims deserted Muslim parties in favour of Congress. AIMIM got half the vote share and lost 3 seats.
This means to thwart BJP, Muslims are ganging up in favour of Congress. They are even deserting the regional parties that gave benefits to them, including even the pure Mulim parties. It means, they will desert TMC, JDU, JDS making BJPs situation better and virtual elimination of regional parties. In retaliation, in 2024, Hindu votes will consolidate, even deserting regional parties, in favour of BJP, making windfall of parliamentary seats. That does not mean big win for Congress. Hindus supporting Congress will also desert them leading to severe losses in the states like Karnataka and Telengana. However they will increase their seats in parliament at the cost of regional parties.
