Fake video goes viral on social media?
There is another video in circulation these days on social media, especially Whatsapp. The video shows the gruesome and gory murder of a young girl on a road in broad daylight. She was smashed, boxed and kicked violently before being repeatedly shot to death from close range with some men in jungle fatigues forming a circle around her.

The message in Hindi being circulated with the video reads as follows:
“Shocking video of brutal attack and murder of Kuki Christian girl in Manipur.
It is a gruesome, sad reality of what Manipur is becoming under the rule of a fascist government. This is dictatorship, if you don’t stop it today, tomorrow another State may get similarly targeted
Pray for Manipur🙏
(Caution: Watch this video only if your heart is strong)”
The Intelligence agencies should investigate and trace the source of this video which has been put on social media with an objectionable message obviosly with the agenda and sole purpose to spread hatred among different communities in India.
Responding to the above message and the video, an ex-Army officer stated: “I had seen this gruesome video few days back…..some whatsapp post said it was in Myanmar while a Commando officer of one of my groups says that the language spoken is not of our North-East as he says he knows most of NE languages.
Language aside, the gruesome & ruthless killing of this girl reminds me of Vietnam & Polpot’s Combodia. Human beings are the only cruel beings of the planet. God save the Human race…”, the retired Army officer observed.
Further, he added, this is highly anti-India agenda driven narrative against Hindus…..connect the dots with Obama’s “protection of the Muslim minority in a majority-Hindu India” statement coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent State visit to the US.

A truely honest journalist’s news item on Manipur by Lalit Shastri, with biased towards non. He has projected the happening exactly whats on social media without peppring it. As much as we are concerned about the burning Manipur, large section of non biased well meaning, pro Modi Indians are equally concerned about the Silence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister on Manipur. It was the same case during post poll violence in West Bengal. Hope & pray to God that PM will intervene and douse the Manipur fire with a permanent solution. Jai Hind.

Knowing PM’s mind through his speeches and deeds , I would venture to say that he seldom speaks just for media hype or political mileage unless there is some substance to what he would like to say. In any case at this point in time whom does he speak for? Both parties involved appear to be equally responsible! And it would not be proper for him to take sided. I’m sure his ministers are on the job not only to ascertain the source of violence..internal / external, but also to stop it.
In the meanwhile, let us keep our trust in the Govt.
