New Delhi: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has registered major success in the first half of this year in preventing the illegal import and commercial frauds that threaten internal security and also pose a challenge to the economy of the country. 

On 14 March 2022, DRI seized 51.4 Kgs of dried Sea Horses at Howrah Railway station in Kolkata. On 11 March 2022, DRI seized 1.040 kg Heroin valued at Rs. 4.16 crores in Patna and on 8 March 2022, DRI seized 4.665 kgs of Gold of foreign origin valued at Rs 2.53 crore in Kolkata.
