Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Health Minister Narottam Mishra took part in a review meeting on Monday 4 May, through video conferencing with Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and Minister of State for Health Ashwani Choubey regarding efforts being made for prevention of COVID-19 in Madhya Pradesh.

Mishra informed the Union Ministers about the success in treatment of corona infected persons with oxygen therapy at Chirayu Hospital in the State capital and requested that an investigation team be sent to Ujjain under the supervision and direction of AIIMS-Bhopal to prevent COVID linked mortality in Ujjain. Harsh Vardhan was prompt in instructing the Director of AIIMS to check the status of COVID +ive patients in Ujjain and extend all possible support to the Madhya Pradesh Health Department.
