New Delhi: Senior Supreme Court lawyer and former Union minister Ram Jethmalani passed away at his residence here on Sunday.

Jethmalani, who was indisposed for a few months, breathed his last at 7.45 am. He was 95.

His last rites were performed in the evening at the Lodhi road crematorium here.

Jethmalani was the Union law minister and also the Urban development minister during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led NDA government. He was the Supreme Court Bar Association president in 2010.
