New Delhi: The President of India on Saturday, 20 July 2019, made the following appointments and changes of Governors.

(i) Anandiben Patel, Governor of Madhya Pradesh is transferred and appointed as Governor of Uttar Pradesh

(ii) Jagdeep Dhankhar as Governor of West Bengal

(iii) Ramesh Bais as Governor of Tripura

(iv) Lal Ji Tandon, Governor of Bihar is transferred and appointed as Governor of Madhya Pradesh

(v) Phagu Chauhan as Governor of Bihar

(vi) R. N. Ravi as Governor of Nagaland

These appointments will take effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices.
