New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has issued notice to the Defence and Home ministries in a PIL titled Maj. PK Dharmani and others VS Union of India and others.

The petition relates to the Status, relative seniority, equivalence levels of Armed Forces Officers, along with
their Pay, Perks, Pensions–including disability Pension, and other emoluments and allowances that are being systematically downgraded through various unscrupulous
means.

Maj PK Dharmani, the lead petitioner is a retired Officer of the Indian Army and has meticulously researched this issue and has preferred the PIL.
