CM takes part in the Punah Prana-Pratishtha Mahotsav of Shri Sharda Devi Navin Mandir
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath today took part in the “Punah Prana Pratishtha Mahotsav of Shri Sharda Devi Navin Mandir organized by the Telugu Sanskritik Parishad, Madhya Pradesh.
The festival will continue till 16 June.
The Chief Minister was traditionally welcomed amid the chanting of Mangal Vadan when he reached the temple in the Sanskritik Parishad premises at Shivaji Nagar here this morning. He lit the Akhand Deep and received the Prasad. He bowed at the feet of Maa Sharda Devi and sought blessings. The Chief Minister said that the cultural and religious traditions of India together create the spiritual power for which India is recognised across the world and has a special identity .
On this occasion, the office bearers of Sanskritik Parishad, large number of devotees of the Telugu community, Additional Chief Secretary M. Gopal Reddy, senior administrative officials were present. Public Relations Commissioner P. Narahari welcomed the Chief Minister.
During the 3-day Spiritual festival, Vastu Puja, Vastu Home Purnahuti and a grand shobha yatra will be taken out. On the opening day, students of Pratibhalaya Arts Academy, Bhopal will present Bharatnatyam. Bhakti Vibhavari will present ghazals followed by a Bharatnatyam dance performance by Pramod Reddy and a group from Hyderabad. The Shiva tandav presentation by D. Prakash and the group from Hyderabad will be the main attraction.
On June 15, cultural and entertainment programmes of spiritual and religious importance will be organised The 3-day spiritual festival will conclude on June 16 with the Mahapurnahuti.
