Damodar is a village near Jaisalmer, where a camel has fallen in a 15 feet deep pit (open gutter) about a week ago. The spot is near a college.

The concerned authorities will have to augment rescue efforts without wasting time, otherwise the camel, struggling to be evacuated with a broken leg, may even die of trauma.

It is important that action must be initiated to fix responsibility and punish those responsible for keeping the gutter open.
