New Delhi: The district magistrate of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh, Selva Kumari Jayarajan, (IAS, UP:2006) has been cleared for appointment as Executive Director, Handloom Export Promotion Council (HEPC) at Cheennai under the Ministry of Textiles for a period of fourt years.
Tamil Nadu is Selva Kumari’s home state. She did her B.Arch. from University of Madras.
A Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India circular of 17 August 2005 says that an officer should join the post within three weeks from the date of issue of DoPT’s appointment order. After this the process of debarment gets initiated.
