north blockNew Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to Rakesh Garg, lAS (UP:80), Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in place of R.S. Sharma, lAS (JH 78) on his relinquishing the charge of the post.

Garg’s additional charge is for a period of three months or till the appointment of a regular incumbent.

The ACC also today cleared the proposal for ex-past-facto approval of entrustment of additional charge of the post of Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) (JS level) to Y.S.K. Seshu Kumar, IFS (UP:87), Joint Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy from 7 April 2015 to 30 April 2015.
