Katju blogNew Delhi: On the raging row between Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and elected Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Justice Markandey Katju, the former Chairman, Press Council of India and prior to that a Judge at the Supreme Court of India, has stated on his blog that “He (Najeeb Jung) is only obeying his Master’s Voice”.

Justice Katju’s comment comes in response to a query by someone on his fb page who asked him to share his view about Najeeb Jung. The same person, whose identity has been concealed by Justice Katju has observed that the current Lt. Governor of Delhi does not deserve to be even the PA of Governor. “I know him very well, he was the Vice Chancellor of my university and he destroyed the university”, he has gone on to allege.

Earlier this week, both Jung and kejriwal called on President Pranab Mukherjee to narrate their respective versions linked with the appointment of bureaucrats. Delhi’s deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, targeting the Governor said he is trying to rule Delhi and was acting in a manner as if to convey there is President’s Rule in Delhi.
