New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved last Friday with retrospective effect the entrusting of additional charge of the post of Member Secretary National Monuments Authority to Pankaj Rag, IAS (MP:90), Joint Secretary Ministry of Culture, for a period of nine months or till the post is filled. Rag took over the additonal charge on July 31, 2014.
As Rag’s 9 month term ended in April, he will be holding the additional charge till the post is filled.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has directed the Ministry of Culture to provide its decision on fresh recruitment for this post by May 31, 2015.
