News Delhi, Feb. 7: Government of India has selected Simerjit Kaur, IDAS (1999) for appointment as Director in the Department of Food and Public Distribution for a period of 5 years.
Another officer Karmvir Singh, IRS (C&CE): 2002, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the same department under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution for a period of 4 years.
